I've found, though, that showing people visually how it actually works to read feeds can make a huge difference.  &lt;a href="http://marshallk.com/introduction-to-rss-syndication/"&gt;My site's intro to RSS&lt;/a&gt; includes a pointer over to a demo Newsgator account I've seeded with feeds for anyone to look at (username: marshalldemo pw: welcome) 

I too am really hoping that RSS will enter into mainstream use - and hopefully more fully than through the anemic browser subscriptions most likely to be popular.</description>
