Hello.
My name’s Lloyd Shepherd. I live in London, England, with my wife and two children. I currently work as a freelance consultant. You can find my work website here.
Professionally, I was most recently Head of Multiplatform Products at BBC Vision. I’ve also been Deputy Digital Director at the Guardian and Director, Information Products at Yahoo! Europe (not to mention Production Director at Yahoo! UK and Ireland) and Head of Future Media Solutions at Channel 4 Television. I also had a small spell as a potential web mogul with Messy Media. Before drifting into all things digital, I was a trade journalist for the best part of a decade.
I’ve Said Too Much is the latest in a dilettantish series of blogs stretching back to, ooh, 2003 or something. Most recently, I wrote at dadblog.co.uk. I also used to write about work-related things at Lloyd@Work. I’ve adopted the URL of the latter for this new blog, and I’m putting dadblog into cold storage for now.
It shouldn’t need saying, but it does, that ALL the views expressed on this site are my own and are not those of any current client or employer, or any previous employer.
If you want to contact me, try Twitter in the first instance (I’m @lloydshep on there).
Thanks for paying me any attention at all. I crave little else.
